Your Holistic Way

Soak raw walnuts in filtered water for eight hours or overnight at room temperature before using. Rinse and refrigerate soaked nuts until ready to use.

In a baking pan, mix well the oats, chopped apples, soaked nuts, and melted butter or coconut oil. Spread evenly in the pan and bake at 300 F until the apples are soft and the oats are golden. Mix the ingredients in the pan once in a while for even baking. When done, sprinkle with cinnamon and let cool down. They can be kept in a glass jar in the fridge once they are completely cooled. Serve as is or splashed with your favorite milk.

This makes for a delicious and aromatic breakfast.
